Required Documentation for a Student Visa
Applicants that shall become or are students in Northern Cyprus, shall apply for a visa from our preliminary Turkish Visa application center. After obtaining a student visa, applicants need to sustain a residency permit in Northern Cyprus. We would especially like to indicate that, if a touristic visa is sustained, a student visa or a residency permit cannot be applied from within Northern Cyprus.
Our Preliminary Turkey Visa Application in Qatar accepts visa applications in accordance to the requests and standards of the Turkish Embassy/Consulate in Qatar. The decisions are made by the Embassy/Consulate, Our Turkish Visa Application center has no decision-making authority, affecting the time the applications are processed in or the outcome.
All visa applications must be made in person.
Applications must be made 90 days prior travel dates.
All payments, including visa fees are made in cash during the visa application at our application centers.
- The applicant must present the original passport with a minimum validity of 6 months from the date of intended arrival in Turkiye.
- The passport must contain at least two blank pages.
- Copies of the current passport (ID page and all used pages), and if applicable, copies of previous passports including any previously issued visas and identification details, are required.
- Two (2) recent biometric photographs with a white background, sized 5x6 cm, taken within the last 6 months.
- The applicant must possess a valid Qatar residence permit with at least 3 months remaining from the date of application.
- The original residence permit and its copy must be presented at the time of submission.
- Student acceptance letter from the school in Turkiye (letter should be in Turkish language and the details and duration of the program must be indicated). The acceptance letter must not be backdated for more than 1 month starting from the application date.
- Payment invoice in relation to the program (İf student received a bursary evidential documentation is requested.)
- If student has been in Turkiye for education before, their previous transcript and school ID is requested.
- The student’s transcript and certificated, diplomas received from their own country.
- An original employment letter must be addressed to the Turkish Embassy or marked 'To Whom It May Concern.' The letter should clearly state the applicant’s job title, monthly salary, and duration of employment. It must be printed on company letterheads and bear the company’s original stamp and signature. E-stamps or electronic signatures will not be accepted. The letter must be dated within the last 30 days.
- The employment letter must be signed by an authorized signatory whose name appears on the company’s Establishment Card. Additionally; a copy of the company’s valid Commercial Registration (CR) and Establishment Card is required.
- If the salary is paid in cash, this must be explicitly mentioned in the employment letter, and the applicant must also submit three months of pay slips, each stamped and signed by the company.
- Original company registration documents.
- Employment letter from the company detailing the applicant’s role, ownership percentage, and business activity.
- Bank statements from the company for the past 6 months, signed and stamped.
- Original retirement documentation.
- Proof of most recent pension payment.
- All employment and financial documents of the sponsor.
- Copy of sponsor’s Qatar ID (QID) and passport.
- A signed declaration from the sponsor confirming responsibility for all expenses.

- A detailed bank statement for the last three to four months (depending on your salary payment dates) is required. The statement must clearly show a minimum of three salary credit transactions and reflect a closing balance of at least QAR 10,000.
- If applicable:
- Applicants have a saving account, transactions shall be documented
- Turkish bank account statements or documentation of property owned in Turkiye, if available.
- All documents listed above must also be submitted for minor applicants.
- Depending on the application scenario, the following additional documents are required:
- If the child is applying alone: NOC (No Objection Certificate) signed by both parents.
- If only one parent is applying with the child: NOC from the non-accompanying parent.
- In case one parent is deceased: Original or certified copy of death certificate must be submitted.
- If the parents are divorced, a custody letter is required from the legal guardian or a No Objection Certificate (NOC) must be provided by both parents, along with copies of their QID and passport. The signatures on the documents must match the signatures on the respective IDs.
- A signed personal statement written in English or Turkish, clearly explaining:
- The purpose of travel.
- Duration of stay.
- Accommodation and travel details.
- Any other relevant information supporting the application.
