Is the visa decision made by the Turkey Visa Application Center?


No. Mosaic Visa is only responsible for forwarding applications to the Turkish Embassy or Consulate, and the visa decision is made solely by the Embassy or Consulate. Mosaic Visa employees have no influence, either positive or negative, on the visa decision. If you encounter any claim suggesting otherwise, please report it to the authorized officers at Mosaic Visa.

Do I need a visa for Turkey?


Official passport holders are exempt from a visa for their travels to Turkey for up to 90 days. Ordinary passport holders are required to obtain a visa to enter Turkey. Some ordinary passport holders who have a valid Schengen, USA, UK, or Ireland visa or residence permit may obtain a one-month single-entry e-Visa via the website www.evisa.gov.tr

Can I make my visa application at the Consulate or Embassy?


No. You can only submit your visa application at the Turkey Visa Application Centers, which are the only officially authorized institutions to receive visa applications.

What is a "Sticker Visa"?


A Sticker Visa is a type of Turkiye visa that is affixed to your passport. It allows you to travel to Turkiye by air or land and can be applied for at the Turkey Visa Application Centers. Depending on the decision of the Turkish Embassy or Consulate, it may be issued as a single-entry or multiple-entry visa and may also allow for long-term stays.

What is an "Electronic Visa"?


An Electronic Visa (e-Visa) is a single-entry Türkiye visa that is not affixed to your passport. It allows you to travel to Türkiye by air and is valid for 30 days within a 6-month period.

Can I apply without an appointment?


No, applicants cannot apply without an appointment unless there is an emergency travel situation that requires immediate attention.

Can I send my documents by courier for the application?


No, you must personally submit your visa application at the Türkiye Visa Application Centers. All applicants are required to appear in person at the center to submit their documents.

Our regular working hours are Saturday to Thursday, from 08:00 to 16:00. During Ramadan, our working hours are from 08:00 to 14:00.

Can I apply for a visa with missing documentation?


No, the Turkish Embassy in Qatar does not accept any visa applications with missing documentation.

What should be the validity of a passport when applying for a Turkish visa?


Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months beyond your intended date of travel to Türkiye. If your passport has less than 6 months of validity remaining, we recommend that you renew it before submitting your application.

How can minors (under 18 years of age) apply for a visa?


If a dependent child is traveling with one parent, a notarized affidavit (No Objection Certificate – NOC) from the other parent, along with their contact details, is required. Similarly, if the child is traveling with relatives, affidavits from both parents must be provided. Additionally, if the parents are separated, an affidavit and a separation certificate are required; if one parent is deceased, the death certificate must be submitted.

What does “special permit” mean?


Certain applicants are required to obtain a special permit before a visa can be issued. These include individuals who are prohibited from entering Türkiye, applicants of specific nationalities, or persons who wish to apply for a residence permit from within Türkiye. Such applications are subject to approval from the authorities in Ankara after submission. Please note that the processing time is typically 15 to 30 days. If my application requires a special permit, which procedures should I follow?


We recommend that applicants who are required to obtain a special permit provide detailed and comprehensive documentation. After submitting your visa application through our preliminary application center, you will be invited for an interview at the Embassy or Consulate. Your application will then be sent electronically to the authorities in Ankara for evaluation. Based on the decision made by the representatives in Ankara, the result of your visa application will be communicated to you during your interview at the Consulate.

How long does it take for my visa application to be processed?


The processing time for your visa application may vary depending on the workload of the Embassy or Consulate at the time. Occasionally, processing may take longer than expected; therefore, applicants are advised to apply at least 90 days before their intended travel date. Under normal circumstances, the application process usually takes around 15 working days.

Will there be an interview after my visa application?


After the Embassy or Consulate reviews your application file, they may decide to conduct an interview. In the event that an interview is required, the date and time will be communicated directly to the applicant by our staff at the Visa Application Center.

Which procedures should we follow if we are not permitted entry into Türkiye?


We recommend that applicants who are required to obtain a special permit provide detailed and comprehensive documentation. A notarized invitation letter from Türkiye, documents proving employment status, proof of property ownership (if available), and recent bank account statements are required to be submitted. Applicants who are forbidden from entering Türkiye must obtain a special permit to enter; therefore, the processing time for such applications typically ranges from 15 to 30 days. I am going to travel to another country through Türkiye. Do I need a Turkish visa?


If you are traveling by air and do not leave the international transit area at the airport, you do not need to obtain a visa. However, if you plan to stay in Türkiye for a short period or your return journey also passes through Türkiye, you may be required to obtain a transit visa. We recommend reviewing the information and documentation section on our website regarding transit visas or contacting our call center team for further assistance.

How can I obtain Travel Health Insurance?


You can obtain Travel Health Insurance at all our Türkiye Visa Application Centers. Please note that Travel Health Insurance purchased from external providers will not be accepted for the visa application.

Can I cancel my application?


Applicants may request the cancellation of their visa application by submitting a written statement of withdrawal. The cancellation will be processed once it is approved by the Consulate or Embassy, and this procedure may take a few days to complete. Please note that refunds are not available for cancelled applications.

How can I track my visa application after I apply?


Once your visa application has been submitted, your file will be sent to the Embassy or Consulate for processing. After your passport is returned to the Türkiye Visa Application Center, you will receive an SMS notification if you have opted for this service. You can also track your application online by visiting this link and entering your Surname and Passport Number

There are two options for receiving the passport. If delivery to an address was requested during the application process, it will be sent directly to that address. Otherwise, it can be collected in person from the visa application center, with ID and the payment receipt provided during the application.

Can somebody else apart from the applicant pick up the passport?


Only first-degree relatives are allowed to collect the passport. This includes parents, siblings, or children. They can do so by presenting the payment invoice provided during the application along with an ID proving their relationship to the applicant. No other third party is permitted to collect the passport.

Can a picture be taken at the Turkish Visa Application Center?


Yes, passport photos can be taken directly at the Turkish Visa Application Center.

How should the photograph be for a visa application?


The photograph must be a biometric photo with a white background, sized 5x6 cm, and taken within the last six months.

Can photocopies be made at the Turkish Visa Application Center?


Yes, all branches provide a photocopying service.

Would the additional services at the Turkish Visa Application Center affect a visa application?


Additional services are available upon request and are not mandatory. The use of these services does not affect the outcome of the visa application in any way.

What does Premium Lounge Service mean?


Premium Lounge Services are available for Turkey visa applicants at the application centers. These services provide a faster and more comfortable visa application experience in specially designated areas, with refreshments served. Using the Premium Lounge Service does not affect the visa application decision.

I want to travel by highway. Can an Electronic Visa be used to enter Turkey?


No, an Electronic Visa is a single-entry visa valid for 30 days and can only be used for travel by air. Travelers entering Turkey by highway must apply for a sticker visa at one of the application centers.
