General information
Our Preliminary Turkey Visa Application Centre in Qatar accepts visa applications strictly in accordance with the requests and standards set by the Turkish Embassy/Consulate in Qatar. The decision on all applications rests solely with the Embassy/Consulate. Our Turkish Visa Application Centre has no decision-making authority and cannot influence the processing time or the outcome of any application.
Since the Turkey Visa Application process requires biometric enrolment (fingerprint collection), all applicants must be physically present at the Application Centre. However, biometric enrolment is not applicable for applicants under 12 years of age.
Syrian citizens, regardless of their circumstances or status, are required to apply in person at one of our visa application centres.
All payments, including the visa fees, must be made in cash during the visa application process at our application centres.
Important Notice
- Our office has no authority or influence over the visa decision. All visa approvals and refusals are determined solely by the Embassy/Consulate.
- Requesting a multiple-entry visa does not guarantee that it will be granted. The Embassy/Consulate may issue a single-entry visa at its sole discretion. In such cases, no refunds can be provided for service fees or application fees.
- Please do not finalise travel plans or purchase flight or hotel bookings until your visa has been issued and your passport has been returned.
- All payments made to our Visa Application Center are non-refundable, regardless of the outcome of your application.
- Processing times are determined solely by the Embassy/Consulate. Our office cannot influence or expedite processing times.
- The accuracy and completeness of all submitted documents is the sole responsibility of the applicant.
Required Documentation for Tourist Visa
Note:Hard copies of all documents must be submitted.
1. Passport
The applicant must present the original passport with a minimum validity of six (6) months from the date of intended arrival in Türkiye. The passport must contain at least two blank pages. Copies of the current passport (the identification page and all used pages) are required. If applicable, copies of previous passports, including any previously issued visas and identification details, must also be submitted.
2. Biometric Photographs
Two (2) recent biometric photographs are required. Specifications are: white background, size 5x6 cm, and must have been taken within the last six (6) months.
3. Valid Residency in Qatar
The applicant must possess a valid Qatar residence permit with a minimum of three (3) months remaining from the date of application submission. The original residence permit and a copy must be presented at the time of submission.
4. Travel Itinerary and Supporting Documents
Round-trip flight reservations, It is highly recommended to provide only reservation confirmations, not paid tickets, during the visa process.

5. Accommodation Information
Hotel reservation details covering the entire duration of the planned stay in Türkiye must be submitted. The dates must precisely match those on the flight reservation. If the applicant has a valid tenancy contract or a property deed (Tapu) in Türkiye, it may be submitted in place of a hotel booking.
In cases of staying with a host (family/friend):
A notarised invitation letter from the host, indicating their full name, address, contact details, and confirmation of covering the applicant’s expenses, is mandatory. A copy of the host’s Turkish ID card or residence permit must accompany the invitation.

6. Employment Documentation
if an Employee:
An original employment letter must be addressed to the Turkish Embassy or marked 'To Whom It May Concern.' The letter should clearly state the applicant’s job title, monthly salary, and duration of employment. It must be printed on the company's letterhead and bear the company’s original stamp and signature. E-stamps or electronic signatures will not be accepted. The letter must be dated within the last 30 days.
The employment letter must be signed by an authorized signatory whose name appears on the company’s Establishment Card. Additionally, a copy of the company’s valid Commercial Registration (CR) and Establishment Card is required.
If the salary is paid in cash, this must be explicitly mentioned in the employment letter, and the applicant must also submit three months of pay slips, each stamped and signed by the company.
Note:Government employees may provide a colour copy of their salary certificate. An electronically stamped and signed employment letter is accepted as an alternative.
For Business Owners:
Original company registration documents are required. An employment letter from the company detailing the applicant’s role, ownership percentage, and core business activity. Company bank statements for the past six (6) months, which must be signed and stamped by the bank.
For Retired Individuals:
Original retirement documentation must be provided. Proof of the most recent pension payment is mandatory.
If Sponsored by a First-Degree Relative:
All employment and financial documents belonging to the sponsor must be included. A copy of the sponsor’s Qatar ID (QID) and passport is required. A signed declaration from the sponsor confirming full financial responsibility for all applicant expenses.

7. Financial Documentation
A detailed bank statement covering the last three to four months (depending on the salary payment cycle) is required. The statement must clearly document a minimum of three salary credit transactions and reflect a closing balance of at least QAR 10,000.
Please note: Digitally stamped or electronically signed statements will not be accepted. The bank statement must be physically stamped and signed by the issuing bank. Furthermore, the statement must not be older than 10 days from the date of application submission.
If the applicant maintains a savings account, documented transactions for this account should also be provided. Turkish bank account statements or documentation of property owned in Türkiye may also be submitted, if available.
8. Documentation for Minor Applicants (Under 18 Years)
All documentation listed in the main application guide must also be submitted for minor applicants.
Depending on the application scenario, the following additional documents are required:

If the child is applying alone: A NOC (No Objection Certificate) signed by both parents.

If only one parent is applying with the child: A NOC from the non-accompanying parent must be provided.

In case one parent is deceased: The original or a certified copy of the death certificate must be submitted.

If the parents are divorced: A custody letter from the legal guardian is required. Alternatively, a NOC must be provided by both parents, along with copies of their QID and passport.

9. Letter of Purpose (Cover Letter)
A signed personal statement is required, written either in English or Turkish, which clearly explains the following:

The purpose of travel (e.g., tourism, visiting family).

The duration of stay in Türkiye.

The planned accommodation and travel details.

Any other relevant information supporting the application (e.g., ties to the home country, reason for choosing the dates).
